Wedding Bells

Hello! Yesterday I had the pleasure to attend our family friends Ashley and Caleb’s wedding. The wedding service was beautiful, and the reception was one big dance party. Every once and a while my cousins and I would get out on the dance floor but we’re more of the dancing in your room, by yourself type of people. Overall, I had a blast and I’m so happy to see what God has planned out for the happy couple.

To say the least, I went last minute stress shopping for my dress and shoes. I had previously purchased an adorable floral skirt and peplum crop top to wear. The length of the skirt didn’t pass the test for my mom, which meant I had to find something else to wear. After an hour or so, the lady helping us at B.P. brought me this dress. Don’t get me wrong, I usually steer clear of high-low but this was do-able. I enjoyed the way it hung, and am in love with the Hawaiian-esk pattern.

The sandals were also last minute. They were around $1o from old navy but I figured that I would only wear them a couple of times. They were overall good sandals and went with the dress quite well.

I had a such a great time on Sunday and I only wish the best for Ashley and Caleb!

Let’s Go For a Hike

Hello everybody! I’m sorry for the long time no see. I’ve been enjoying my summer and have taken a little time off the blog. My cousins and I recently went on a hike to Rattlesnake Ledge and it was great! I’d be lying if I said that we didn’t stop for a few breaks here and there but at least we made it to the top.

As you can tell, my outfit isn’t that extraordinary but it was comfy and perfect for the weather. I’m wearing a basic Nike running tank, Zella yoga pants, an under Armour zip up and Nike shoes. This is a great outfit for hiking because you can take off the zip up and tie it around your waist mom style, or put it on.

The hike was filled with many memories and I managed to film parts of it and create a short video from our hike adventures. I’d love it if you’d watch it!   (click here)

T-Shirt & Jeans

Hi guys! Even though there’s a lot of stress from school, I’m in an extremely good mood! The week started off great on Sunday with cousins, City Church and Molly Moon’s ice cream. However on Monday, I was sick and couldn’t go to school. Through countless cups of tea and vitamin C, I’ve been getting a lot better.

This outfit is super comfy and casual. If you’re ever having a sick day, throw on a baggy t-shirt, boyfriend jeans and some birks. I love this outfit because its casual but it doesn’t look lazy.I added the flannel for a little more color and in case I get cold, I can wear it normally.  I am going to be wearing t-shirts and boyfriends jeans/shorts all summer. Also, I’ll be rockin’ my birkenstocks along with everyone else.
