Hello & Happy New Year’s Eve!

2014 brought the excessive plaid trend and I’m not complaining. I love plaid. I was looking for a good red plaid scarf and discovered this one from Forever 21 Men. It’s a great piece to throw over a simple outfit. As for the rest of the outfit, I’m wearing a simple black peacoat from forever 21, my DIY boyfriend jeans, and a black and white striped long sleeve that came all the way from Top Shop in Ireland -thanks Cece!

Also, I’m wearing my new Nike Roshe’s that my brother got me for Christmas! I’m not going to be working out in these shoes but I’ll wear them as casual everyday shoes. I’ve seen countless bloggers with Roshe’s and I’m excited to get good use of these in 2015!

I hope you have a great New Year’s Eve and stay safe!

I’m Dreaming of a (Black and) White Christmas

Merry Christmas! I’m so exited to have this post up because I was having so much trouble uploading it. That’s beside the point but I hope you all are having a Merry Christmas (or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa). My winter break has consisted of basketball at deadly hours, last minute Christmas shopping, and consuming too many cookies.

I wore this outfit yesterday to a family Christmas Eve dinner and received many compliments from relatives, including a great aunt who had the same one in a different color… It was incredibly comfortable and the jacket made it food-baby proof. Otherwise I looked like I was with child and in my third trimester.

The outfit was perfect for Seattle weather. The sweater dress, vegan leather jacket, and knee high socks, added necessary warmth for the winter.

    Happy Holidays!

Cabo Part 2: GoPro Video

Hello again, I’m here with the second (and last) part of the Cabo posts! This past year I’ve fell in love with video filming and editing. My dad and I bought a GoPro this summer and it’s one of my best purchases. I took some footage in Cabo and I put it together in a video! It took me a little over 6 hours to make so I hope you like it…

Also I want to thank my Grandma Kay and Grandpa Don who took the whole family on this trip, I love you two so much!

Cabo Part 1: Thankful

IMG_7626IMG_7483IMG_7655IMG_7652IMG_7493IMG_7621IMG_7501IMG_7568IMG_7765IMG_7555IMG_7467IMG_7651

Hi again! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving that was full of good company and large food babies. Over the break I was in Cabo, San Lucas with my family. I was trying to post while I was there but due to the slow $12 a day wifi, it didn’t happen.

While I was in Cabo, I remember how blessed I am for my family.

My grandparents are hands down, two of the biggest role models to me and my whole family. They’ve taught me that there’s nothing more important than the relationship you have with your family and with God. I am forever grateful for my Grandma Kay and Grandpa Don.

My 10 best friends also happen to be my cousins and they are some of the most important people to me. They never fail to make me laugh, enjoy life and feel loved.

My aunts and uncles have shown me that it’s okay if  you don’t get along with you siblings now, but when you’re older it is so important to have a good relationship with them because they will be some of your closest friends.

My brother has shown me that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. His determination is unlike any other and I look up to him in that aspect.

Last but definitely not least, I’m thankful for my parents. They’ve taught me so many things in my 16 years, but the most important thing they’ve taught me throughout my life is how important it is to love God before anything else. They have helped me become the person I am today and I’d be lost if I didn’t have them.

I love my family with all my heart and I am so thankful for every single one of them.
