Give Your Mom Jeans a New Look

Hey guys! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted:( No excuses, just a lack of creativity and drive. Ever have those weeks?? Me too. The good news is I’m back and ready for action! And by action I mean more blog posts!

I’ve been seeing the “patching” trend everywhere. Seriously it’s EVERYWHERE! I’ve been wanting to give my mom jeans a new look and this was the perfect opportunity. Along with the patches, I cut out squares of bandana to place on the other side of the rips. I got the idea from watching Casey Neistat’s Vlog the other day. Even though I got fashion inspiration from a dad (Casey) I’m in love with the look.

4. Decide where you want to place the patches. First glue down, then sew around the patch to insure that it will stay on and to add a little more character.

And… You’re done! So easy!

What I love about this DIY is that you can add more patches as frequently as you want! If you find a new patch you love, by all means, sew that baby on!

Stay tuned to see how I styled these awesome new jeans!
